The Yatra aims to create awareness about the community’s sacred pilgrimage site, Khandelwal Vaishya Dham, and to strengthen cultural and spiritual unity across the country. Speaking over the phone from Gangtok, he extended his best wishes and congratulations to the leadership, stating that the Yatra would significantly contribute to the social and cultural development of the community.

They were joined by former President Jugal Dagayach and several respected community members, along with a large number of women who participated enthusiastically in the Welcome Ceremony.
During the event, an Aarti was performed and Bhog was offered to the deities enshrined in the Yatra Rath. These included:

  • Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, and Lord Kalbhairav
  • Mother Ganga and Mother Saraswati
